About Electronic Books

September 17, 2016

My new book, In Good Hands, is only available as an electronic book (usually called an ebook). If you haven’t ever read one, DON’T BE INTIMIDATED! It isn’t hard and it isn’t expensive.

In fact, if you have a computer (and you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t), you have all you need. You can go out and buy a Kindle or some other device if you WANT to, but you can skip that step and just read my book on the computer you’re using right now.

Besides that, ebooks are really cheap. Mine should cost you under $5. You can also adjust the font to make it as large or small as you want.

As you will see if you click on the “Buy the Book” tab on my website, there are plenty of ways to get it. But if you haven’t done this before, here’s an easy way to get started. If you click on the link that says “Buy at Amazon” (or if you simply go to to the Amazon site and click on the Kindle Store), you will see among the choices on the navigation bar at the top “Free Reading Apps.” This is where you can choose an app that will work with your computer, or your iPad or Android tablet, or your smart phone. Choose whichever works for you.

Then you can search the Amazon Kindle Store under my name to bring up In Good Hands again and buy the Kindle edition. It will work on any of those apps.
